According to the agency YG Entertainment on the 4th, BLACKPINK's music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" exceeded 2 billion views on YouTube at 8:57 a.m. that day. It has been about four years and five months since it was released on June 15, 2018.

 

"DDU-DU DDU-DU" is renewing the first, highest, and most views of K-pop group music videos on YouTube every minute and second. Looking at the recent increase in views, the number in front of hundreds of millions of views is changing every three to five months.

 

The song is the title track of BLACKPINK's first mini album "SQUARE UP". The addictive chorus and point choreography, which seem to shoot a pistol with both hands, became popular, ranking first in the world's most viewed K-pop music video in 2018.
